Jiggy was born with a scissor beak. It is a deformity in baby chicks and happens when the top and bottom of the beak grow in opposite directions.  Her prognosis from the start was grim but we spent every day hand feeding her. She is the sweetest chicken you will ever meet and we are happy she is still here with us today!
